Excursions

The guild offers many opportunities for study trips aka. excursions alongside studying. The objective of an excursion is to visit and get to know businesses in our fields and network with students all around Finland. Our annual excursions include the Freshman excursion, SRT and KMP.

Freshman excursion

This is a day trip aimed at freshmen, which heads to companies near Oulu, with a fun afterparty afterwards.

SRT

SRT is short for the "Suomen Rakentajateekkari" -event centered around civil engineering, which is the destination for this trip. The event is arranged alternately in Tampere, Otaniemi and Oulu. Along the way we visit interesting civil engineering companies. Usually 3-4 days long.

KMP

KMP stands for "kotimaan pitkä" which means "the long of homeland". The destination is the "Ympäristöteekkaripäivät" environmental engineering event, which Tampere, Lappeenranta, Otaniemi and Oulu take turns in setting up. Different environmental engineering companies are visited. Usually 3-4 days long.
